1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting godshallwoodcraft.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or make a purchase.
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continuing to use the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on this site. If you are between 13 and 17, you may only use this site with a parent or guardian's consent. We do not sell to anyone under the age of 13.
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide — your name, address, payment details, and contact information — is accurate and complete. Orders placed with false or incomplete information may be cancelled.
3. Products & Pricing
All prices are listed in US dollars (USD). Where required by law, applicable taxes are included or calculated at checkout.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes do not apply to orders that have already been confirmed. If a pricing error occurs on our site, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund. We will notify you promptly if that happens.
Product descriptions, dimensions, and photos reflect each item as accurately as possible. Because our furniture is crafted from solid wood, natural grain patterns and minor color variations are part of the material and may differ slightly from photos. These are not defects.
4. Order Process & Contract Formation
Placing an order is an offer to purchase — it is not a binding agreement on its own. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory issues. If we cancel your order, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
All contracts and communications are conducted in English.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments or authorized third-party processors. We are not responsible for errors caused by third-party payment processors.
If you file a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, and that chargeback is found to be without merit, your account may be suspended from future purchases.
6. Shipping & Delivery
We ship to all 50 US states. At this time, we do not ship internationally.
Estimated delivery is 4–8 business days from order confirmation, broken down as follows:
- Order processing: 1–3 business days
- Transit time: 3–5 business days after shipment
These are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays, weather, and other factors outside our control may affect delivery times.
We offer free shipping on all orders.
We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by the carrier, packages confirmed as delivered to the address provided, or failed deliveries resulting from an incorrect address submitted at checkout. Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.
7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unassembled, and in their original packaging with all hardware and instructions included.
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom or made-to-order furniture (custom dimensions, wood species, finish, stain, or engraving)
- Final sale or clearance items, as marked at the time of purchase
Refunds are processed within 7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item, and are issued to your original payment method. We do not charge restocking fees. Return shipping is free — we provide a prepaid label once your return is approved.

8. Title & Risk of Loss
Title to purchased goods passes to you upon receipt of full payment and delivery. Risk of accidental loss or damage passes to you once the item is handed off to the carrier, in accordance with UCC Section 2-509. We are not responsible for loss or damage that occurs after the carrier takes possession of your order.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including logos, product photos, text, graphics, and site design — is owned by Godshall Woodcraft, LLC or used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any part of this site's content without our written permission.
When you submit content to us — such as product reviews or photos — you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content for business purposes, including marketing and product pages.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not use this website or any of its content for unlawful purposes. Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:
- Fraudulent orders or payment
- Scraping, crawling, or automated data collection
- Hacking or attempting to interfere with site operations
- Submitting false, misleading, or harmful content
Violations may result in order cancellation, account suspension, and legal action where warranted.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our furniture is sold as described on each product page. We do not make warranties beyond what is expressly stated. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable state law, implied warranties — including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — are disclaimed.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. If you are in one of those states, these disclaimers may not apply to you, and you retain all statutory warranty rights under your state's law.
12. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the specific item involved. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
These limitations do not apply in cases of fraud, gross negligence, personal injury caused by a defective product, or where your state's law does not permit such limitations. Your consumer rights under applicable state law are not affected by this clause.
13. Product Liability
Our products are designed and built for residential furniture use. We comply with applicable US product safety laws and standards. You agree to use our furniture as intended and not to modify, alter, or misuse any product. We are not liable for injuries or damage resulting from misuse or unauthorized modification.
14. Privacy & Data
We collect and use your personal information only as described in our Privacy Policy, available at godshallwoodcraft.com. Our data practices comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), COPPA, CAN-SPAM, and other applicable state privacy laws including the VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA, TDPSA, and FDBR.
15. US State-Specific Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits or replaces any right you have under your state's consumer protection laws. Customers in California, New York, Virginia, Colorado, Texas, Florida, and all other US states retain their full statutory rights. If any part of these Terms conflicts with a right granted by your state's law, your state law applies.
16. COPPA — Children's Privacy
This website is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has submitted personal data to us, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal information may contact us at support@godshallwoodcraft.com to request deletion.
17. CAN-SPAM — Email Marketing
If you subscribe to marketing emails from us, every email will include a clear and functional unsubscribe link. We will process opt-out requests within 10 business days. We do not use deceptive subject lines, false sender information, or misleading content in our marketing communications.
18. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at support@godshallwoodcraft.com. Most issues can be resolved quickly without formal proceedings.
If informal resolution does not work, disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
Small claims exception: Either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court instead of arbitration.
Opt-out: You may opt out of binding arbitration by emailing support@godshallwoodcraft.com within 30 days of your first purchase. Your opt-out request must include your full name, order number, and a clear statement that you are opting out of the arbitration agreement.
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles. For any dispute not subject to arbitration, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
Regardless of this governing law clause, you retain all consumer protection rights available under your own state's laws.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted at godshallwoodcraft.com with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site after an update is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or removed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions stay fully in effect.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and any other policies posted on godshallwoodcraft.com, make up the complete agreement between you and Godshall Woodcraft, LLC regarding your use of this site and any purchases you make.
