Refund policy
Every piece we sell is built from solid wood and checked before it ships. If something isn't right when it gets to you, reach out and we'll sort it out.
Return Window & Eligibility
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. This is a voluntary window we offer as a courtesy and may go beyond what your state requires.
To qualify, your item must meet the conditions listed in the Return Conditions section below.
How to Start a Return
Step 1 — Contact us first.
Email support@godshallwoodcraft.com or call (610) 231-0992 (Monday–Friday, 10 AM–8 PM EST) within 30 days of delivery. Have your order number ready and let us know what the issue is.
Step 2 — We review your request.
Once we look over your request, we'll email you a prepaid return shipping label along with packing instructions.
Step 3 — Pack and ship.
Repackage the item in its original packaging and drop it off at the carrier location listed on your label. Please don't ship anything back before hearing from us — solid wood furniture requires specific handling, and returns sent without our label may not be accepted.
Step 4 — Inspection.
Once your return arrives, we inspect the item to confirm it meets our return conditions.
Step 5 — Refund issued.
After inspection, your refund is processed within 7 business days.
Return Conditions
- To qualify for a full refund, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition it was in when it arrived
- In its original packaging, with all hardware, protective wrapping, and assembly instructions included
- Unassembled — furniture that has been put together does not qualify
- Free of damage or modifications made after delivery
- Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase
If a returned item doesn't meet these conditions, we'll contact you before doing anything. We may offer a partial refund depending on the item's condition — we won't make that call without speaking with you first.
Return Shipping & Return Address
Return shipping is free. We'll email you a prepaid label once your return is approved.
Do not ship items back without first contacting us. Returns sent without our label or prior approval may not be accepted.

Refunds
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method
- Processed within 7 business days after we receive and inspect your return
- Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional days to post it to your account
- No restocking fees
- Refunds are not issued until the returned item arrives and passes inspection. If an item doesn't meet the return conditions, we'll discuss a resolution with you before anything is finalized.
Exchanges
We do offer exchanges. If you'd like a different size, finish, or piece, email us at support@godshallwoodcraft.com. In most cases we'll process your return, issue a refund, and you place a new order for what you'd prefer. In certain situations we may be able to arrange a direct swap — just reach out and we'll find the best option for you.
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned:
- Custom or made-to-order furniture — any piece built to custom dimensions, wood species, stain, finish, or with engraving or personalization
- Final sale or clearance items — marked clearly as such at the time of purchase
If you're unsure whether your item falls into either category, contact us before placing your order.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
Damaged or defective on arrival: Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging it arrived in. We'll offer a full refund, a replacement, or store credit — your choice, at no cost to you.
Wrong item delivered: If we sent the wrong piece, we cover all return and re-shipping costs. We'll send the correct item or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Lost return packages: Use the prepaid label we provide — it includes tracking. If you choose to ship a return independently without tracking, we are not responsible for packages that do not arrive.
Chargebacks: Please contact us before filing a chargeback. We respond quickly and handle issues fairly. Chargebacks filed after a refund has already been issued, or without any prior contact, may result in suspension from future purchases.
Order Processing & Shipping Timelines
- Order processing: 1–3 business days before your item ships
- Transit time: 3–5 business days after shipment
These are estimates and do not include weekends or holidays.
US State-Specific Consumer Rights
Wherever you are in the US, your state's consumer protection rights apply in full and are not limited by this policy. If any part of this policy conflicts with a right you hold under your state's law, your state law applies.
We only collect the personal information needed to process your return — your name, order number, address, and contact details — and we don't use it for anything beyond completing your return, refund, or exchange, in line with applicable privacy laws including the CCPA/CPRA.
